2014 Juan Gil Blue Label
$34.99 per bottle $188.95 six pack

We only got ~20 6 packs and it retails for $34.99 a bottle. Definitely for fans of big Cabs/blends. Really inky purple and concentrated with spice, blackberry, and vanilla. Super lengthy finish and good but smooth tannin. Drinking now but also very age worthy.

Varieties: 60% Monastrell, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Shiraz / Syrah.

An awesome red wine with 18 months aging in new French and American oak. Intense cherry color with a garnet rim. Powerful aromas of ripe black fruit, toasted and balsamic notes. Complex and well structured, smooth and mature, pleasant on the palate and very persistent, with a toasty personality consisting of cocoa and spices. Balanced and harmonious, flavourful and with a long, elegant aftertaste marked by the sweetness of the noble tannins and the ripe fruit showing its potential in the bottle. Ideal with rice with game and mellow, stewed vegetables, mushrooms, game and poultry, casseroles, smoked blue cheeses, grilled red meat, roast lamb, pork and beef.

Harvest: Harvested manually during October.

Age of vines: Up to 60 years.
Alcohol: 15.5%
